Upcoming Events
Our events are all about bringing people together. Whether it’s a craft session, a social get-together, or an accessible day out, every activity is designed to help you connect with others who understand life with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus.
Everyone is welcome — members, families, carers and friends. Come along, have fun, share experiences and feel part of a supportive community across North & West Yorkshire.
All events are free or low-cost to attend thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Postcode Lottery.
All our events are FREE for NWY ASBAH members, including siblings, parents and carers. To make the best use of the funding available, we ask that enough people book on so sessions can go ahead as planned.
Family Social

Leeds Playhouse
A trip to the Leeds Playhouse to see Planet Omar - Accidental Trouble Magnet. Age guidance 7+ This event is for NWY ASBAH families with children under 18. Tickets are limited both in number and family allocation to ensure that as many members benefit as possible. Use the booking form to register your interest and we'll confirm how many tickets we have been able to allocate.

We are excited to be holding a bricktastic lego themed craft and connect for adult members, parents and carers. Entitled Petals and Pieces, our host Helen from the Brick Build Guild, will help us create a floral themed work of art!

A calm, creative session for adult members to make, chat and unwind together. Settle in with unlimited (almost!) tea, coffee and biscuits and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming space to switch off and connect. Also ideal for parents and carers who’d like a little time for themselves.
