At North + West Yorkshire ASBAH, our focus is on connection, community and care. We bring together people affected by Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus through inclusive, accessible activities and events that make everyone feel part of something special.

Through our partnership with Shine, the national charity for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, you can also access specialist advice, 1-to-1 support and practical help from experienced professionals.

Together, we’re here to make sure you have the information, support and community you need to thrive.
Individual Support
If you or a family member lives with Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus, Shine’s friendly and knowledgeable team is here to help.

They offer personalised 1-to-1 support and expert guidance across a wide range of areas – helping you feel informed, confident and supported.

While Shine focuses on individual support, NWY ASBAH continues to bring our community together through local, regional and online events.
